Job Description

  • Execute buy and sell orders in financial markets (e.g., forex, equities, commodities) as per company strategy and client instructions
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and global events to assess potential trading opportunities
  • Maintain real-time awareness of pricing, market conditions, and news impacting trading instruments
  • Provide market analysis and trade recommendations to internal teams or clients
  • Ensure compliance with internal trading policies and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Manage risk by adhering to trading limits and implementing stop-loss strategies
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on trading activities, P&L performance, and market developments
  • Liaise with brokers, financial institutions, and other counterparties to optimize trading execution
  • Monitor and update trading systems and platforms to ensure accurate transaction records
  • Collaborate with risk management and finance departments to ensure proper trade settlements and reconciliation
  • Assist in developing and back testing trading strategies using historical data
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all trading activities
