Initiates and develops banking relationships with mass affluent and high-net-worth individuals and corporate entrepreneurs in order to expand the group’s customer base and to meet or exceed individual and the division’s target levels set on new business. In particular:
Identify prospects with investible assets meeting the criteria set for potential clients.
Act upon leads and referrals from other members of the division, other business lines, or from existing customers.
Arrange and conduct cold calls, pitches, and sales presentations to introduce and promote the group’s capabilities and products.
Assists clients in formulating and establishing their financial objectives, portfolio structures, investment requirements and time horizon, risk awareness and tolerance, and performance expectations. • Advises clients on all aspects of personal wealth management and financial investment opportunities in order to enhance return on the relationship and to fulfill its growth potential in Assets Under Management (AUMs) and revenues. In particular, liaises with and leverages upon the Asset Management and Brokerage desks in order to:
Advise clients on global asset allocation and investment diversification.
Design and implement investment strategies based on clients’ needs and expectations.
Generate product ideas, formulate and recommend investment solutions across the full range of products and services offered by the company: Deposits, International Equities, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Islamic Products, Alternative Investments, Private Placements, Portfolio Management, and Specialist Advisory Services.
Assist in designing, creating, packaging, and proposing specifically tailored financial products.
Contribute to raising demand in the context of sales campaigns arranged for the launching of new financial products: Funds, Private Placements, and Structured Notes.
Periodically reviews clients’ investment objectives in order to recommend asset allocation adjustments and re-balancing of their portfolios in respect to market changes:
Conduct regular asset reviews and account performance evaluations.
Update clients on product performance, economic highlights, market developments, and changes in recommended investment strategies.
Provides systematic feedback on customer visits to management by preparing and updating call reports on the CRM system in order to:
Create and develop a client database on prospects’ and customers’ specific or generic requirements.
Contribute proactively to new product development by identifying and reporting investment themes and the need to expand or enhance the product range and delivery.
Assumes responsibility for providing specialized lending and operational services to customers. In particular:
Provides margin lending against securities.
Arranges and negotiates lending terms; performs and monitors security and collateral.
Regularly reviews the credit risk of customers, including identifying potential issues and taking remedial action.
Oversees and monitors daily operational activities such as fund transfers, order placement, and account maintenance to ensure high service quality.
